 Stories difficult to classify due to their focus on character over plot or combine genres.Including historical fiction.

A crime, like a murder or disappearance, or another unexplainable event serves as the central mystery to be solved..

The primary goal is to evoke feelings of excitement, suspense, and sometimes fear. Without  violence or abuse of any living creature.

These stories involve frightening events, my goal is to steer away from graphic and gore to find the subtly unsettling. 

Romance books that are mixed with other genres, to make it less about intimacy more about connection.

The primary goal is to inform, educate, or provide insight into a subject. I am currently reading what I can about the healing powers of herbs.
